Wow, that's a fail... not only you reposted a video by Smurfen, you also failed to search the forum on "lfs fnf", and to give any credit to the creator. On the other hand click
I think this video is really successful many people likes it and you are saing ,,Wow, that's a fail... '' ?I see that you concerned that people would create videos with your and other EXPERTS rules.I have a feeling that if we are not following rules the video is a big fail isn't it ? This is not a real life that we have to follow some rules how to and how to not create videos .I'm not saying that those rules are bullshit, sure they really helps to improve videos and that people would like to watch it ,but I think your taking too seriously to this.
I do hope you learn English by the next time you decide to leave a post, replying to a post you didn't understand...
Yes, yes it is actually, because if you examine the "making the LFS movies" thread (which nobody actually bothers to find) You will find that those "rules" as you called them, are actually aimed at removing all the unnecessary stuff from the screen, and helping avoid mistakes, not "telling people what to make movies about". It's exactly this kind of shortsighted reply I usually get - "we don't play by the rules, because we're creative like Tarantino." Well get this straight : Tarantion and other great directors make their creative and great movies in real life by correctly using a video camera and editing software, same applies to LFS movie making.
He who lays his hand on me or tell me to do things to govern me is a burdon to society and I shall declair him my enemy. The rules of film making are simple. Do what you want to YOUR video, and If you like it then good for you. Film making is about originality and personal opinion not following rules. The united states has enough rules. Let people do what they want. I wonder why Ebert and Roepers show got cancelled. Oh and BTW LFS is a game and your a joke... but no hard feelings. If making someone feel bad about their video gets you off then so be it. Ill go cry now.
Just like I said in the post which you quoted, but miserably failed to comprehend (quad fail in one thread, way to go!)... oh, and by the way, it really cheers me up, to listen stuff on movie making from a person who never actually made a movie... please, do go on, tell me some more stuff that I haven't excluded (and explained why) from your backtalk option list
NO WAY! I never knew LFS was a game that I downloaded and payed for to play on my PC...
and ofcourse [crying]I'm a joke! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN... A guy who fails to make a movie, use search, give credit, read and comprehend, and give reasonable answers called me a joke... it must be true....[/crying]
and let's adress the final bit... are you saying that this is YOUR video?
I don't make LFS movies because I don't like to make moves. I take pictures, you know photography. And its easy for you to talk because all of your videos are OH SO GLORIOUS!!!!! I watched your videos and I've found a ton by people that make them way better than you do. So before you ruin another thread, think... Are my films so much more GLORIOUS than everyone elses.
Why not ruin this thread? It's a repost after all... you contributed nothing to the LFS movie making community by reposting Smurfen's video. Why even to talk back if it's not your own video? Why not actually say "here's a great old video by Smurfen" at it's very least?
have you tried making threads here? . If you like taking pictures, then talk about taking pictures, not about something you have no idea about. Who knows, maybe this advice will actually make you post something useful...
And it's easy for me to talk because I actually know what I'm talking about...
I can name 5 off the top of my head (Im sure there are 2-3 people I forget)... quite a long way from being a ton...
Yup, they sure are, by quite a margin, excluding a few talented people who are making really good videos, and post them on this forum, while being able to make their videos within the basic rules of recording and camerawork that are found in the "making the LFS movies" thread.
