Great race, not many entrants but we were all really close together.

The first 20 or more laps were a pitched battle between 4 or 5 of us, so many passes were made in those 20 laps it was unreal, not had a race like that in years on LFS and only 1 race comes to mind then.

Things settled down after about 30 laps as people pitted, was going to go as far as I could but nearly rolled it in that last chicane and it kind of put me in the pit lane entry anyway so I pitted. Didn't really want to change my rears but it changed 1 of them and I was out.

When CSF pitted I was a few seconds behind and looking to catch him but made the same mistake again and nearly rolled it, but hit the wall this time, giving me damage to the right front which slowed me down and I lost second place and nearly third place by the end of the race.

A great race, really enjoyed it. Thanks to all.

p.s. Forgot to mention nearly being, well, being taken out by franky on lap 2 when we were 1 - 2. GP's are getting better, first one was maybe 5 or 10 laps of door to door where this was a good 25 laps of door to door 8)

I lasted but 5 laps, which was a shame, but i'd rather have done that than have lead for half the race then ended up where widdow did, that was unlucky!

Very good racing up the front, it seemed like many many overtakes over the course of a lap. Well done.

Great race for me, I have never been in a battle like that before with the ATC guys. Really fun, really close (Sometimes too close. :tilt but I had a lot of fun.

Well apart from the final 15 laps, which I was just trying not to roll. Thanks for the fun race guys, I shall return, and hopefully a few more will sign up for the next race.

I had an awesome race until Lap 49...... well - lap 20 wasnt so good either.

Started from 5th on the grid with a PB for for my qualifying lap, and by the last corner of the 1st lap I was in 4th, and came through the chicane in hot pursuit of the leaders who for some reason, had got a bit tangled. Coming into the first corner of lap 2 - I outfoxed my 2 team mates and got into first, purely because of my positioning for the corner. I held the lead pretty well, pulling out a 12 sec lead at one point, but I am a seriously hard user of the front tyres. As my right front started to heat - I lost my lead and Gag and Franky pulled up to my bumper.

Planning a 2 stop stratergy, I pulled into the pits to take on fuel and change tyres, at least one - but non changed. My test laps told me that I would blow the right front by lap 24/lap 25, so had to pit again to force the tyre change - I held on till Lap 40.

After pitting I was in 5th, and pushed on for 4 laps, knowing 4th place had not pitted, but after his pitstop, he started to pull away - so I settled for 5th. Cruising the last 15 laps should have been a sinch, but on lap 49, I caught a kerb in the chicane and rolled it.

Now worries - there were a few racers left, and I am sure the fella in last place, who had been lapped, would have flipped me back over...... but alas.... they just drove round and beeped at me every time...... No amount of begging (or swearing) convinced them I was worth turning.

It was a seriously good race while it lasted.... shame about the pits. I would like to be able to force at least a single tyre change..... I would have been hot on the heels of them leaders if that was the case.
