drinking mix berry kronningberg last night... 4 euro a bottle... 5.something percent... worth every penny ( so what if its cider... close enough to beer )
Light and air are the enemies of fresh beer. The advantage cans have is they're 100% guaranteed to not allow in light or air. Bottles are airtight too for the most part, but they let in light, even brown bottles. Green and clear beer bottles are even worse; beer should never be put in them.
Canning technology has improved and the days of metallic taste from a can are long gone.
Cans have a reputation for only containing cheap swill beer, but that is changing too. Quite a few craft breweries are canning now. You can get great beer in cans.
