I have had my fanatec wheel for no less than two weeks, and already it has broken, the first day it came, a button popped off, and now the FF is broken, doesnt work at all.

And if i leave the wheel plugged in an continue to play LFS, the wheel begins to burn, literally, my entire basement smells like burnt plastic, heres a video of it not working.....

How do you think fanatec should handle this? ive spent $500 with them in the last 2 weeks (bought the Rennsport wheelstand as well which i have not even got to set up yet...

The correct way to deal with it is of course to rma it. With all these faults I don´t think there will be a problem getting a replacement unless you bought it used?

You could give them the chance to solve it first. You probably have a wheel factored at some mondaymorning.

Just message them, link them to that video and give a proof of purcahse or something, sucks it broke bro.

wow of all times for their site to be down..... the fanatec site is not working!!! this is an outrage! up until now i was in love with the 911, everything worked great! and now literally 10 days later its busted.

and the craziest part is that, when i plugged the wheel in again today, the base becomes extremely hot to the touch and smells like an electrical meltdown, i honestly believe if i left it plugged in over night, it would kill me.....................

should i expect this from a nearly $400 steering wheel.

Website wasn´t down for me the last day? As mentioned mail them they will take care of it of course.

Doesn´t sound that strange that it runs hot based on what you described on the first post? Obviously you shouldn´t use it if it behaves like that just RMA it.

Off course not. I have a cheap wheel that is on power 24/7, and it doesn't smell or smoke. You could also contact the shop where you bought it.

Dude, it's weekend and it's a German company (mind the time difference, the 6th at the end of the day in Germany you hadn't contacted them yet as i read your replies here).

I'd say give them at least a week before properly being angry with them.

got a new 911 turbo wheel today!!!!!!!! on the rennsport wheel stand it rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this new wheel is also quieter than the last but my favorite part is it feels like the bars for the shifter are heavier, and the shifter barely moves at all when shifter where becfore it would shake all over the place.
