Nice design, only thing that really bothers me is the bold font. For some reason it just doesn't look right to me, other than that great work.

The site runs stylesheets so its quite easy to change the fonts around.

We've done a recent image overhaul on the web site, I took in some feedback from here to make the font less bold as well as a new background image

looks much better now

1. Turn JS off and see how your menu fails slightly
2. Reduce the amount of space between each of the columns and the menu
3. Split the background up and tile it so that the image size isnt as big
4. Get rid of the tables

Javascript is necessary in the menu, a lot of forums and sites use javascript

Its now definitely better.
But I insist on darker background.

One more thing, the font color you chose for home page is what people are used to as link color. For this reason, its look like full of links. Even the links are same color. This could confuse visitors.
