I reckon you could be onto a winning forumla there, ATC, with the Dukes on their driveways..

Make sure they all have Termo's fitted as well, just for good measure..

I didn't actually come up with it myself, my friend told me what the person across the street from him did once. Basically the people he lived with kept staying up late and playing music, so he never got decent sleep before work in the morning. So as he left for work one morning, he backed his Ducati up to the front door and revved it up then did a burnout on the doorstep, before leaving for work having woken up his very hungover housemates and left them with a house full of tyre smoke with smoke alarms going off.
Haha, that's a very ingenious thing to do.. your mate is a genious!!!
Don't think he intended for smoke alarms to go off though haha

If I still race at Croft later in the year (if! ) I'll find out their phone number somehow and give them a call in the middle of the noise test. Or sellotape the phone into the car and phone them in the race

Repeatedly.

Good idea, If I ever end up there again, I might have to as well.

Or reverse the car on the trailer up to their gate and put something heavy on the loud pedal.
What a pathetic family.

I hope their house burns down and they have to move somewhere thats no where near a racetrack.

What the hell do the expect if they bought a house next to a track!

Quote from Gav190 :The same sort of thing happened to Castle Coombe. They had to drop British F3, British GT, BTCC..etc. I can't stand the people that buy new houses right next to a race track and then complain about it. You don't see the people in the Silverstone village complaining do you? and they are pretty much right next to the track.

it as not the people in the village of castle coombe that sued it was people in vilages 2 miles away
the govenments respoce to these petitions never actualy state anything, every time without fail they will stat rules etc but will never say that we have noted what you are saying and will investigate further or anything, not even a proper go **** yourself which is bnasicly what they are saying here
Just relocate all the people who have made complaints (forgot about the swear filter, begins with a C and ryhmes with punts) away from racing tracks, perhaps dump them all on the Isle of Wight. Then people who would actually enjoy the sound could move in. I have similar soloutions for other problems, we could move plane spotters next to airports, and trainspotters to the moon because quite frankly they are of no value to humanity.
They can all touch each other in weird ways if they move to the Isle Of Wight. Cos we know they will!

i guess your always going to get a different story from those interested in racing,, but, i am interested in racing and i live 5 miles away from the circuit, and when the crass tracking and motobikes is on its a pain in the ass to listen to. even though i live so close, i still havent been round it cause its god damn expensive. it wouldnt make a blind bit of difference to me if it was gone, my number one passion is cars and driving and if i cant make use of it then what good is it doing for the average joe who also lives round here.
I live near an airfiel and have to listen to planes/microlights/helis quite often and i really don't give a shit!

And I also imagine when you moved there you knew what to expect since you were moving next to a airfield?

Try living near to 3 airfields, I'm used to it though.

I have a theory that there are more complaints about racing noise nowadays than in years past because back then exhaust notes were better, bring back big low revving gas guzzling racing engines I say!

well we didn't have a fake housing bubble back then! People seemed to think houses = life so got all tarty if a bit of 'noise' got in the way of their perfect lifes and may impacted on their house value!

Now that has crashed around them they should be glad to have a roof over their head. maybe now they can wake up and stop be such ****s!
