REALLY nice car man.
that sound reminds me of my punto with its rusty muffler lol
really nice
Way to go, recording speeding on public roads. Good job, sport. You're my hero now.

And even engaging in a street race against another like minded (read: blank minded) wanker. Honestly, I hope you'll only kill yourself while driving, and not someone else you simply shot off the road.

Take it to a track if you want to really drive it.

a bit harsh eh... its not like i was doing a lot of speeding.. majority of the time, i stuck to the speed limit.

Nah it was not that dangerous...

Nice driving though
Loved it, good to see the Porsche was up for a bit of fun too - not slow is it!

Was tempted by a S1 Lotus Elise earlier in the year but really there seems no reason to not go for a much newer VX - other than 'image' I guess.
i think it was fast, but not THAT fast.
also it seems like he is knowing the road, so i dont see any problematic in it.

everyone has to take his own consequences its just not fair when other people get insulted in someones stupity (which i can´t see in this vid)

I beg you NOT to think that only a second of careless driving can't ruin or end a life, including, but not limited to your own.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not for anally following every speedlimit, I myself tend to go quicker, especially if I am familiar with the road and I spend more time watching the road ahead instead of the speedometer,

BUT

and this BUT is deliberately big, you did some pretty stupid stuff in that video that is likely to kill, like the extreme overtaking maneuvers and racing that blue porsche.

Quote from BastianB :

The problem is that you can't act like that in public traffic, as the risks you personally take are shared by everyone who has the bad luck of sharing the same stretch of road at the same time. So it's not you alone who's to face the consequences of an accident.
unfortunately most people who think they know about the cars history (lotus and vaux) think that the lotus is the superior car, but in my eyes you see so many on the road you barley bat an eyelid, when you see a vx i still stare and i own one. lol

no i dint... lol

and at no point was i careless.. if you look where i overtook the car.. i had to wait until i knew the bend was clear as i couldn't see round the corner..

when i overtook the white van i could see over that hill and all the way down the road way before i overtook, but the way the camera was positioned you couldn't see that on there..

so don't go assuming that i post a vid and then presume i'm a retard that doesn't know how to drive a car, as i can assure you sir.. i'm quite capable of driving my car.

i would also like to add that i know this road so very well, i drive up and down it to work every day and i have done for the past 2 years.. so i know when and when not to overtake...

i agree, speeders just make my life difficult, do it on the track or dont do it at all...

f****** insurance !

f****** insurance !

I think the overall standard of driving in Ireland makes insurance a nightmare there. That is in no way a personal go at you, but it's pretty mental over there.

Its not That bad, but its not great...

either you speed or your flashed to hurry up... even by police...

i prefare to stick at 29.5 mph all day long... Screw everyone else.

Just a small hint of info: I had all my road accidents (of which none caused injury or deaths, except of a doe) on roads I drive on an almost daily basis for seven years. None of them were my fault, and funnily enough, I was below the speed limit every time.

Now you could argue by some twisted logic that I am actually safer if I speed then, but that would be beside the point.

The point actually is that if you use a public road to get an adrenaline rush, it will be just like with any other drug: to get the same effect you'll have to up the dose. If the drug is sporty driving, it can only lead to one consequence: somebody's going to end up badly injured if you're lucky, or dead. So I think, and you're entitled to disagree of course, that driving like this, allthough that one example can be regareded as only mildly offensive, should be avoided on public roads at all costs.
in general i would agree with you, on roads in towns etc, i abide by every limit as i do think speeding there is pointless and there are alot of people about that could get hurt..

the majority of the time i wasn't even speeding, there was just one point that i went over the limit by a small amount, but decided to edit the full video..
nice vid chris and nice car too, would have been fun to see you driving on sports tyres in that weather, good to see the guy in the porsche was up for a bit of fun. Didnt see any danger here, even if you were travelling over the speed limit :P
Quote from R3DMAN :ts not like i was doing a lot of speeding.. majority of the time, i stuck to the speed limit.

I knew a guy who recorded himself speeding. He even uttered the same sentence once.

Now he is six feet under. Slammed into an oncoming truck at 150 kph.

Nice car though.
thats a nice sounding car! (for a vauxhall... jk)
Very nice Chris, although i dont really like opels i do kinda like this one.

And ignore the pricks that whine about the speeding, cant you just have fun on the road.

Quote from G!NhO :cant you just have fun on the road.

Certain members of the British Comunistical government want to get a law passed that will prohibit "Taking a motor vehicle into the country side for the purpose of having fun".

It'll be interesting to see how they plan to enforce this.
I don't think there's anything reckless in this vid. They're not driving the cars hard apart from the odd straight line squirt, they're not racing, they never endanger anybody, and they're driving with thought and concentration, as most people who really enjoy driving do.
You Reckless Chav !!!
Slow down who you you think you are
Lewis Hamilton ???

lol, that had me laughing for good 10mins anyway, nice driving and beutiful sound
