Maybe I have been living under a rock but where do all these similar avatar's com from?

over the past weeks there has been an explosion of similar avatars made of a portrait with a limited amount of colours and a name underneath on this forum.

Not judging, just curious...

I actually was the second person to take one of those avatars. Then I noticed some forum 'undesirables' :hide: using them and hastily switched back to my SRS avatar.

But so long as it is irritating someone, I'm not changing me avatar.
