I'm using a Driving Force Pro which works flawlessly, until I minimize the game. One I minimize it and maximize it again, the accelerator pedal stops working, but everything else (including the brake pedal) continues to work. The solution is to exit the race and start it again (It doesn't even need a game restart).

Any ideas on what might be happening?

Have you tried to re-initialize controllers? Shift-C IIRC.

Also remember the only recommended way to switch to windowed mode is Shift-F4.

Are you using patch Z or Z10?
If Z10, post in Z10 topic.

Thanks for the help, everyone! I just found out that the engine shuts off automatically if you go idle for a certain time, that's the reason why everything else worked but not the gas pedal. In the end it was something really stupid, but hey -- I just started playing, still trying to get used to this great sim before I take the $50 out of my wallet to buy S2. Thanks again!
