LX4 Spare tyre: YES or NO ?
Just asking new question, and making about poll of this.

Because in my opinion, Spare tyres should be only, when racing on Dakar or any other rallies.

And would make a configuration as like UF 1000 and already, LX cars. (Roof, on/off)

( Please notice, that this is only suggestion and you can vote on poll and also, tell your opinion about this case, nothing else. Thank You!)
I voted "yes", because 1) It looks nice and 2) We can easily recognise an LX4 to an LX6 with that.

But the weird bug with the plate going inside of the tyre after a crash looks extremely bad anyway. I hope it'll be fixed in the next patch.

Without the spare you'd still be able to spot the difference between an LX4 and LX6 on corner exit. The 6 would be sideways and still pull away.

lol, thats going in my sig But anyway, i like the spare tire, it makes the LX4 look more classic like a morgan or something, although its a lotus seven. But, i like the spare-less LX6 better, it looks more slick. But id say, keep it!
Since everyone always argues that stuff "has no value in racing" I think the spare tyre should go since it'd be held in the pits. I know it makes the recognisable difference between the two, but that's not important. Maybe the mounting for the spare could stay so there'd still be something different.
i voted NO. you can recognise LX6 by air intake on the hood

Not from behind you can't
Depends how you view the LX4....

If its a trackday / roadcar then, it should probably stay, if its a "racing car", then it would be removed, infact, there is a very good change it would be removed on a trackday car for weight purposes.

Personally, I don't really care either way, but at a push I would say make it personally selectable.
while we are on the subject of what is realistic to racing and what isn't, what about the UF1, since when did people race convertibles on a track??

All time, although they generally have a rollcage.

But that would also affect weight distribution and handling a bit
It "should" do, however, the roof on the UF1 "should" affect lots of things, but it doesn't
I don't mind. It gives the LX4 a 'classic' look.
#14 - senn
no one would race with any extra weight, so the spare tyre would go if i had an LX4 IRL, before i took it to the track. I believe tho it's mainly to differentiate between LX4 and LX6 (and when it existed LX8 perhaps, that had 2 exhausts IIRC, and looked just like an LX6..)
