Quote from (SaM) :Yep, Xbox 360 exclusive. No PC or PS3.

Exactly like GTA 3 VC, GTA 3 SA and GTA 4... take that you PC users, you'll never play GTA games EVAR... Rockstar releases them for consoles exclusively, and then releases them for PC in 6 months.... but that doesn't count!

"Rockstar" and "console exclusive GTA" is getting old already...

... except that this one really is XBox360 Exclusive... Rockstar never claimed that VC, San Andreas or 4 were console exclusive.
Quote from danowat :xbox only, unfortunately Kelvin!!!!.

Quote from danowat :And still no GTAIV DLC

Yea, but we PS3 users are getting the Saints Row 2 DLC, which is a much better game anyways.
Wtf, penis?

Those that play through the first couple of missions will know what I'm talking about.
Too bad I dont got the RROD. I wish they would make it for PS3.
I'm just going to download it now, the new multiplayer modes sound really good, and the new weapons should be worth the extra cost.
I'll save my money and wait for the next real game. Vice City anyone?
12-20 hours? That must include a lot of side missions because I beat the main story in 6. Got up at 6:30 to download it and was done by one.

Edit: IMO a bit lacking in length, but Rockstar tied Niko into the story nicely and made a great storyline. Only beat it so quickly because the story sucked me in.
Quote from flymike91 :I'll save my money and wait for the next real game. Vice City anyone?

That will be GTA 5, they are saying the DLC will replace the games like Vice City or San Andreas. From what I have played so far this does feel like a new game despite it being in the same city.

Different doesn't equal "better", its arguable which one is "better" because they are both so very different.

Mind linking me to the fact that the SR2 DLC will be PS3 exclusive?
Quote from danowat :Mind linking me to the fact that the SR2 DLC will be PS3 exclusive?

From what I've found on the internet the SR2 DLC will be for both the PS3 and Xbox360.

Indeed, that is my understanding, just wondered if it had been mentioned elsewhere about this PS3 exclusivity, or it was just a figment of Maggots imagination....
There's these moments when i'm happy to own both, an xbox360 and a PS3.

Looking forward to this (gotta buy some points first, and find the time to play it)!

How is the handling of the bikes compared to GTAIV?
Quote from jibber :How is the handling of the bikes compared to GTAIV?

I've only ridden Johnny's bike so far - a custom Hexer of which there only exists one in the entire game, apparently - and... I don't really like it. First of all, it's slow. Of course, it's a chopper, but in real life choppers can be pretty damn quick off the line. As for the handling, I don't think I really noticed a difference. Granted, I've only played the first mission.

But I stick to my opinion that the bikes in San Andreas (and even Vice City) were much better. I loved to ride bikes in those games, but I hardly touch them now. Which is unfortunate seeing as this add on is pretty bike oriented, obviously

I'm looking forward to trying out some of the other more sporty bikes, though. Some of them look good, at least.
Ohh well, i didn't expect too much of an improvement to be honest...

I've watched some gameplay videos on youtube, and thought the bike handling didn't look very different at all.

EDIT: I'll see for myself tonight (went to buy some points at lunch break...).
It does feel different to Vanilla IV. I find the city seems more friendly in TLAD.
I really like it so far. Feels like a new game (except that the city is still the same of course).

I love the referrences to Niko at some points in the game. Even in the intro, you can already see him walking on the sidewalk, bumping into some dude.

The bikes are... well... still GTAIV bikes to be honest. Handling feels maybe slightly better at best. The biggest improvement is probably that the handlebar is finally connected to the rest of the bike, and at least it looks realistic now when you are steering. Other than that, still the same old bike handling IMO.

Sometimes it looks odd how your gang is maneuvering on their bikes next to you/behind you. It can also provide some great fun however... speed up a little bit, use your handbrake to take a turn in the last moment... then look back and start laughing at your fellow bikers who desperately try to take the same turn, but fail big time, miss the corner and crash into whatever is in their way!

Haven't done much of the missions yet, but the few i did have been good fun. Overall i really like the new setting.
im downloading now
Is it me, or do you not fall off your bike as easily as in IV? It would make sense if they tweaked that a bit as you'll be on a motorcycle a lot of the time.

Also, I got a FBI Buffalo that looks bad ass
It's harder to fall off your bike, but it has more of an effect on the missions when you do, because often you have to keep up with the pack. I like the way they are using areas and vehicles not used much in IV, the FBI Buffalo making an appearance in one of the first missions you do, and then in later missions is nice. I have it parked outside the club now, just incase I need one later.
Quote from ATC Quicksilver :I have it parked outside the club now, just incase I need one later.

Same Not because I might need it, but because I think it looks cool.

I also think it's cool how they tied the story in with the main storyline of IV. I didn't realize that Johnny was actually the guy you start a mission with in the original IV until I did the mission as Johnny in this add on. I was like "oooh right, I remember that guy from the original game!!".

That and the Jason dude that gets whacked by Nico I'm sure there'll be other references.
