This weekend in the bonnie forrest stages somewhere in the Black Isle in the Highlands. Anyone going? Might be the first time in a while it holds up to it's name.

Schedule if all goes to plan

Cars depart Inverness 9am
Stage 1 - Near Daviot - First Car 9.19am
Stage 2 - Millbuie (Near Culbokie on the Black Isle) - 10.35
Stage 3 - Strathpeffer - 12.25
Stage 4 - Glenuquhart - 14.41
Stage 5 - Glenurquhart (2) - 14.59

I'm wanting to head up, but sis is working and dad struggles to walk long distance's after shattering his heel. think this will be one were ill have to listen to on MFR

I'm most likely get to the stage in Strathpepper, It'll allow me time to get back into Dingwall if the County game is still on and if not give me time to possibley get to the last stage at Glenurquhart or the finish line at the Thistle Hotel in the sneck.

My cousin is racing in this in his new 205 GTi, which is most likely to end in the ditch...........again.

What time do they get into ness at for the finish? Might make it through for that

This time the Snowman rally will live up to its name which might make it pretty interesting and fun to much, even though it will be arctic at the stages.

Woot turns out ill be heading up tomorrow Guy at Arnold Clark says that noly 2 stages will be open to the public cause of the Snow ¬_¬ dont know which ones though.

Stages 1 & 4 have had the spectator parking cancelled.
Stages 2 & 3 will be open.
Stage 5 is cancelled.

Wouldn't mind going myself, but it's a bit far north for me

Apparently in places the snow as at chest height hence why 2 stages closed to spectators.

Thankfully SS3 is still open, although I suspect it's going to be mighty cold

Well that was fun...should have posted a couple days ago but

Anyway, managed to drag my sorry ass to Contain, and then the 30 min walk into the forests and past the banjo playing hicks.....found a good spot were a fair few incidents happened.

1) Jimmy Girvan spinning at a hairpin, 50 yards up from where I was

2) 50 yards down the road form were I was....it took about 25 people (+ 3 bouncing in the trunk) to pull this Escort out

3) Off course....wheres there snow, there be snowballs

Just as well stage 5 was called off, they finished stage 4 in the dark due to a couple of mishaps in SS£ (the 00 car went off and delayed the rally by about 2 hours)

Great day out, even though there was some moments when a thought a car was going to hit me, (Jimmy Girvan) The noise from the cars was amazing and to be so close to them going at a fast speed just made it SO fun.

Looking forward to next year, as long as its not on the same day as my Football, i shall be happy

It was an ace day i was at the corner before the hairpin, few cars nearly went off down the hill, Had a 205 spin right round and jad to 6point turn xD. Was a great day hopefully be there next year . You two coming through to the speyside?
