LX4 is good idea, but imho combined with TBO it doesn't work, nor ever will (at least on public). They can be equal with laptimes, but if you have bunch of non-drivers in TBO rolling you to the ground, passing on grass etc., then... well... failpossible.

Sad to see we're back to the usual routine already... The most populated licensed server is about drifting 
The server was just as full yesterday evening as the evenings before that. And I imagine it will stay like that for some days since the TBOs will be running on the server until next Thursday at least, I think.
Except for late night Friday and late afternoon and again late night Sunday, for Kyoto 250 practice.
March 1st, and March 6th and 7th for Kyoto 250 Qualifying, then racing. I'm keen to close it off the day before to allow some final practising. Will confirm with J@tko and such and post official infos.

It is (was) midnight.. you can't expect similar server population at this time than you can in the afternoon/evening.
This server is not dead yet... 32 car grids yesterday, and I'm expecting similar today.
Why you guys took LX4 off? It brought some extra spice as it is probably the most underrated car in LFS. I had fun driving it for sure

No, they chose FOX first, it turned to be unpopular, they changed back to TBO, then they added the Restricted LX4, which i liked very much. Then they removed it again for some reason, it woulda been good for racing and it was great spice in the game.
I think the trouble with the LX4 was that it would dominate on certain tracks, and get destroyed on others, it was one extreme or the other. It did look a bit out of place racing alongside all those tanks too.
And I certainly hope it does not die any time soon, it's the only server I would consider joining at this time.

As for future things, we will be tweaking Airio so that it does auto track changes and things like that, and stopping the damn thing spectating people for "INACTIVITY", even though they're going along at 100mph
The constant insim disconnections are now fixed, as Airio is on the server itself.
As for the cars, we've found that the XRT+FXO are roughly the same around the majority of tracks, the FXO is faster in the corners but the XRT is mega fast down the straights. The RB4 is only quickest when there's lots of corners and no straights, as the XRT passes it as though its in another class
As for the LX4, we had it on server for one evening, then we binned it. We found that it was just too different to the other cars. Firstly, its a low-slung sports car, not a car designed to take Bob and his 2.2 children to the shops. Secondly, it was too slow down the straights and too quick in the corners. Even the RB4 was passing it for God's Sake! And thirdly, we find that just having the TBOs makes for better racing, everything is much closer and door-to-door racing is better if you can actually see the car thats to your left
In general the racing has been cleaner as the week has gone on, not too many /999 bans to report. Also, if you feel that you have been unfairly banned, then please contact us either via a reply to the PM, or at http://newdimensionracing.synthasite.com/Contact_Us.php, and we'll deal with your protest.
Finally, if you enjoy the racing on server, consider joining the upcoming IMA TBO Challenge, which promises exciting racing on some of the best combos from our server.

- Say: <insert name> - WANKER [or similar] and then leave.
- Start a vote ban if there is an admin on server.
You should do the following:
- If there is an admin on server [me, dekojester, JO53PHS, TFalke55 or hyntty - we have [NDR] infront of our names], please point out the offending driver and WE WILL SORT IT OUT.
- If there isn't an admin on server, then go to http://newdimensionracing.synthasite.com/report-user.php. Here you can fill out a report and we will deal with it as soon as we can. Note you need to save the replay locally to you, as unlike CTRA, we don't have the capacity to save replays onto the server. It only takes about 1 min to report someone.
