I am opening a Host of LFS and I wanting to know a ideal ping for play.

Current Ping: 180ms

There's no "ideal" ping as such. The lower the better, really. Ideally you want something below 60-ish if you live near enough to the server. For example, I always pinged 30ms to the old CTRA servers, without fail. But I could still join a >100ms server and be fine

Reminded me of an old quote.

Good ping is like.. 30-80. You can get away without causing lag up to about 175 from CSS experiencee

Anything below about 300ms should be totally playable.
