If you have a forum subsection, where teams/competitors are allowed to make posts, use it and don't lock a thread where detailed questions are left unanswered. That way someone won't use the general discussion area to draw attention to the matter.

These threads will be deleted in 1 day.

Protests can be filled in the appropiate thread. One other thread with a similar, non constructive, context will result in different reponse.
