Location: Sugo test track

Time: 21:58 at time of writing.

Engine

New engine built and being tested at new factory, after first engine blew and took garden shed with it. Insurance money used for new BBQ and ensuing party.

New booster pods installed and tested, marshmallows where nicely done.

Aerodynamics

Mode change working well after testing, but still some problems with hydraulic system icing.

Tyres

Tyres keep blistering due to high speed drift technique, will need support truck to carry extra sets.

Weapons

Drone keeps accessing LFS forums and porn sites instead of military satellites and servers. Onboard radar working well, but will need Infrared Camera reinstalling.

Team Fang Update 001

We....have a problem. The car decided to switch on autopilot and drive off through a closed gate.. We suspect sabotage or interference from competitors. Also we found a note saying "w3 w1ll pwn j00" at the scene. We suspect hackers.

If you have any information, tell us.

Also the old Chief Engineer's been fired amidst rumors of cheating. His last words to us where "Why, so serious?" along with a laugh.

In other news, we tested a teleport device. It didn't work. Not only did it teleport the car on top of a landmine, losing us time, it then teleported the car into a mitt in the Scottish Museum.

Our driver has quit because we forgot to pay him, we decided a replacement by drawing straws, out of the team, I unfortunately drew the short straw and will be driving.

Team General Resource Update

As the final hours of testing close at GRLTD's test track, the GRLTD team decided to use the Rear Burner feature of the prototype to roast marshmellows. Unfortunately it seems to have burned quite a few...

Haruna Say still appears too scared to push the GR1500XG bike to it's absolute limit, despite the many hours and days spent in an in-house simulator and on several interstates. "This is the 765th time he's not managed to break the sound barrier. If he doesn't break it by the end of the race, I'm going to take the brakes off that thing and send him on his way to hell," his team manager said.

Still, a few members doubt Haruna will even make it past the first kilometer. "Five hundred thousand euros says Say's supersonic bike goes flying off into the woods on the Autobahn and crashes while he's watching the latest episodes of Clannad or Toradora. I think it was a bad idea to install that TV system and internets."
