Whenever I run more than 6 laps with the LX4 it seems like the clutch starts slipping. The car stops accelerating, and the tach just goes to redline. Any thoughts?

It's most likely your driving style, unless you are flatshifting constantly, it's very hard to even get the clutch into the red.

Try lifting on shifts and adjusting the gear ratios if you feel the need.

Don't flatshift into 2nd or 3rd and the rest should be ok and keep it at a reasonable temperature, that's what i do in MoE anyway.

The 99% of my time in LFS i use the lx4 and lx6 and never have temp problem

Remeber Lift the gas when you change the gear , in time you will do it more faster every time
