lol at americafags bashing the oval haters, I dont hate Nascar i watch it when i can probably my 2nd most watched series behind F1.
The only thing I really hate is the cars, if they reduced the weight and the engines they would be 20 times more efficient whilst keeping the same speed.
And that's why you aren't organizing it! That's probably the worst thing you can do to the cars to be perfectly honest. If you want to see them with alittle less power watch the Nationwide series, but as far as less weight... :thumbsdow
I would rather see an F1 car with double the weight and half the downforce they currently have, with skinnier tires as well. Like that'll happen...
Since when was racing about being efficient? Also, Nascar size engines in much lighter cars:
You could argue that the modifieds are more exciting than the Cup series, no where near the amount of coverage though. Just found a video of them practicing at Bristol, as far as I know they've never actually raced there, it would be awesome if they do in August like they are trying to.
I ment smaller engines in smaller cars, well not really but you can easily reduce the weight of a Stock car and keep the same frame as right now its like 1700kg which is rediculous for a race car of any kind unless its a truck.
And America being the capital of the: ''Oh noes global warming!!'' I think it would make sence.
You clearly came to this thread looking for a reaction, you certainly got one, are you happy now?
The cars are heavy because the bodies are made out of steel plate, this is so that they don't discintegrate when smashed into at high speed, in the European version of NASCAR, ASCAR/SCSCA or whatever its called now, the cars had Glassfibre bodies which is considered a mad thing to do when running on high speed ovals.
You all just need to shut up.
I dont have to accept oval. And i will never drive one nor accept one!
It is my opinion and no one is allowed or able to change it!
Regardless, you dont need to be an arse about it. You dont like ovals fine. Doesn't give you the right to harass people who do (or be ignorant about it. I dont like drifting, but that's not going to stop me from learning all i can about it).
If I think dutch people are retarded, then it is my opinion. It may be a wrong opinion but just because i believe it to be true does that make it true?
It is you who needs to shut up and stop being a whinny baby. Seriously grow up
RIGHT
Why does everyone have to accept your opinion Vinny?
I think your opinion is wrong. Therefore I have a right to express my own opinions that has a conflict with yours. If you bash my opinions i have every right to bash yours
So go make a thread about hating ovals and talk about it there, I don't understand why people need to come in and ruin this one where people are just trying to discuss the Nascar season.
Wtf is wrong with you people.
Going to make a story wich doesnt ****ing make any sense.
You dont have to accept my opinion. But you cant change it.
It is a forum so it is made to discuss matters and giving your opinions.
I just simply dont like oval owhkay?
If you dont like it so much then why are you even posting in this thread?
Also, vinny, acceptance is a sign of maturity. If you cannot admit that your opinions are possibly wrong then there's no reason why anyone should have a serious discussion with you.
If there's a compelling reason why your opinions may be wrong then that's all the reason why you should change it. God knows how many times I've changed my opinions since I've joined this forum.
If you or anyone else can give me a valid, compelling reason why ovals shouldn't be considered "real" racing then I would gladly change my opinions about ovals (which no one has yet)
If I post telling you repeatedly that you are an fool in every thread in which you post, I would get an infraction for trolling and harrasment, yet it is still my opinion. Sometimes especially on the internet t'is best to keep your mouth shut, you wouldn't stroll up a bunch of bikers and tell them bikes suck would you? If you go into a thread about a certain subject and then slag it off without any real reason, then you can't expect to get much in the way of nice comments heading your way.
I just simply don't like you owhkay?
Just go away, before the hole you're digging yourself gets you all the way to China.
Seriously, this isn't acceptable behaviour from you. It's absolutely out of my frame of reference, how someone who is so vocal about their dislike for ovals would even venture into this thread to READ it, let alone post here.
Posting with the attitude you're demonstrating is far beneath the standards we expect on this forum. Either drop out of this thread (strongly recommended) or you'll be dropped off this forum for a while.
It's entirely possible that you're getting the false impression - even possibly from others who are posting in this thread, who post similar spam and trolling elsewhere on this forum - that your behaviour is acceptable. Heads up for you, and all other blatant trolls: It isn't.
For everyone else.. incessant responding to trolls worsens the problem. Be part of the solution instead, please, and report trolls in the usual way. Maybe it's time this forum had another shake-down and raised the behaviour bar back up like we did a few months ago.
They're still pretty tough though, as we have seen over the years.
the rules are a bit different in IRL, in NASCAR bumping and rubbing is accepted practise and unavoidable sometimes, IRL cars don't quite run so close together and so bumping and rubbing is frowned upon and not necessary, IRL cars also have open wheels, which is never good for contact and leads to flying cars.
Anyway, this is a thread about NASCAR, not about Ovals, if you weren't so ignorant you would know that NASCAR and IRL race on road courses too, so perhaps this thread is not such a good fishing ground for you to troll in.
