Well i dont seam to be having any problims with the cable

that musta beenteh prob btu i donno why
Wireless doesn't work for everyone, fine here though.
If you can change the channel the wireless is using, it may help. They sometimes interfere with wireless phones, other wireless networks and devices (depending on what sort of wireless your using).

Since your disconnects happen quickly, it might be worthwhile changing the channels to see if it improves.

Though most likely a cable is going to be your best bet.

LFS is time-critical, it has to keep track of up to 32 vehicles in as close to real time as possible. At a speed of "just" 125 mph, 135 ms equal 24.5 feet of vehicle movement.
Because the clients are not in sync with eachother but only with the server, your client sends as many updates as it can but only receives up to 6 per second from the server, which of course can only send updated information if it received updates from the other clients. Now if a client happens to send updates just after the server sent the last position update (which presumably would then contain the last known velocity and position vectors), you could end up getting up to 331ms old positions. Do the math and you'll find that 331ms is actually a long time in a fast paced race.

All the technical stuff could be complete rubbish but the point is, 135ms is a long time span in racing and you should try to bring that down.

It is 12 vehicles in demo.
Well i donno how to change the chanel

its odd that it wasnt working when it works on everthing else

That would make sense i think so it can travel faster on the wire or less interfanance? well shouldnt be any

note: i dont think ive noticed any other plays lagging i know lag crashes were funny at times but annoying
Changing the channel depends on the model of router you have. It may be as simple as a switch on the box, but you might need to go to the settings. That'll mean pointing your browser to something like 128.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.1 and seeing what it says. You'll likely be prompted for a password too.

But if you're going to change something, make sure you note down the settings it was on first in case it goes wrong.

Screenshots are always good for stuff like that, so that people can see what all the screens say.
im just gonna leave it like this cus it seems to be working
Quote from dougie-lampkin :54Mbps is your wi-fi adaptor's speed, not your internet speed

If you're being disconnected from most LFS servers, it's not LFS' fault. It's either down to poor wireless, poor internet speeds or poor ISP routing. If you can move your PC to the router and connect with ethernet, and try and race, see does it still disconnect you. That should see is it the wireless at fault.

Our last ISP had 3Mbps connection with us, yet I couldn't hold a connection for more than 30 seconds on any server, using ethernet straight from the modem

@Stefani and other wireless haters: Wireless is not a problem. I'm a good 30m away from my router, going through 4 solid concrete walls and passing through a kitchen full of appliances. Yet I can play LFS just fine, and get the exact same download speed as the PC we have connected to the router with ethernet

Im not a wireless hater....
Have wireless myself...and had some expierence with more discos then here on the cable.

My words were chosen a bit too rough i guess.
