ok so I start my pc and all I get is a black screen when I log in and my documents open all my other icons and bars are missing it's all just black.... yes I have been downloading dodgy stuff...

any advice?

Throw your PC out of the window.

Or, if you like a less radical approach: format your HD completely and reinstall your system.

And a last hint: if you re not able to notice the difference between malicious software and regular programs, stay out of the internet!

I fixed it actually, and I was downloading some hack AIO tools and if you didn't know most hack files show as trojan which is why I allowed them through, (my mistake) and i'll try to watch what I download in future

System restore is not complety safe , most times the "Malware" still there , i suggest scan your pc in safe mode

Anyways, id suggest backing up some of your more valuable files and wiping your HD and installing windows again.
If not as a backup create a linux live cd. And if your computer ever EFFS up again then you just stick in the live cd, move all your important files to an external harddrive, then you can wipe your harddrive.
Has saved my life a couple of times

Not to mention the threat of Rootkits. Format, reinstall and be safer (at least until it happens again).

Scan your PC with Trend Micro HijackThis and post logfile here.

Also, I suggest using this:

Malwarebytes Anti_malware

It's free and excellent!
