I'd love to know the temperature of my tyres surface live, the temperature of the air, the temperature of the sidewalls, the amount of dirt on the tyres and the wear in nice digital numbers.
Unfortunately you don't get that in real life. It's one area where LFS racers have life so, so easy in comparison. Admittedly, you can't examine the tyres carefully in LFS, but that doesn't show much anyway unless you're an experienced tyre technician.
You can force LFS to change tyres in the live menus. It will also happily change the compound of the tyre too.
Thus this suggestion is already implemented, pretty much. Once F9/10 is removed completely too, it'll be even better.
