Quote from sinbad :There's also much more to The Chain than just "dum. da da dum dadadada dum".

You are right, there's the bit that everybody fast forwards past too.
Quote from robt :http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/h ... t/formula_one/7925005.stm Fast forward to 3:20 and listen to the irritating music/baseline in the background...they butcherd "the chain" Lets hope its not the new remixed theme.

If they do use the remix in Australia, they'll be snowed in with complaints to Points of View, so I don't forsee them using a remix for the intro, they may under graphics ETC.
That Remix sounds horribly like a rip off of the chain by some British rap bloke called Sway, the song was called 'Up your speed'.

Have heard that remix before, so i don't think it was specifically done for the BBC.

In the Radio Times, it said there using the original, i don't expect it to be anything else tbh.

I think the BBC have learnt their lesson from when they tried to change the themes to Match of the Day and Eastenders. The changes were only subtle but provoked outrage from loyal viewers because, frankly, it's totally unecessary.

Theme tunes don't have to evolve.
Ooh I like this.

Quote :Before every race this year, we will be asking you to vote for the classic event that you want to watch on the BBC Sport website.

I'm still trying to decide.
Could do without Jake Humphreys, the guy is a ****ing idiot.

I do like the options via the red button on bbc though:

Quote :
RED BUTTON

The BBC's red button interactive TV service will broadcast live coverage of all on-track sessions - Friday and Saturday practice, qualifying and race.
There will be an additional interactive analysis programme following on from the end of the BBC One coverage of each race.
On race day, viewers will be able to choose from three different video streams. These will be: the main network feed with a choice of commentary from BBC One and BBC Radio 5 Live; a split screen comprising the main network feed; an in-car camera feed and leaderboard; rolling highlights.

Is he really that bad? In my opinion he's a step up from Steve "can't hold a microphone" Rider, and much better than Count Von Count!
He is that bad imo
In my opinion he's done a good job of the American football, but can be annoying in some studio-based things. He is not as bad as he was.
We can agree to disagree
