Hi LFSers!

I saw a server today, where, instead of "cruise" or "private"
there was a tag saying "mod" an it what called something
like "Audi S1 mod server".

I tried to go on the server, but it sayed something
like "wrong car"...

Can someone tell me what that is all about?

Especially because we habe the

It is a server where all of the participants are using a pre-determined LFS Tweak file. To join that server you need to use the same tweak file as everyone else in the server.

Is not , but for some way ppl are using it...

lol mod n00bs. You can't use tweak on a normal server. For it to work online, all parties (clients + host) must have the exact same tweak settings, so no normal clients can join etc, you have to know what the host is using.

From what I've heard on the forums, some mods like Tweak or Slicktire are not prohibited as long as they have a way to prevent people using them in non-user servers or to prevent people who don't use them to enter servers.

That way, it is not considered as 'cheating' since everyone will have the same tweaked car or the same tire choice.
