I made wave file of various sounds,named them for instance HORN1, and put into sound file. But it dosen't work. Did i do something wrong?

LFS does put a limit on the length.

Also the file extention must be .wav

How do you mean doesnt work, ie error messages in lfs, no sound when pressing the horn etc?

If still in LFS - Try Shift-W after changing sounds in the folders. This tells LFS to re-initialize the sounds and it reloads all sounds.

Only necessary if you are changing sounds while LFS is running.

i don't think there is a limit on horn length. i have a 20 second long one.

There is indeed a limit. Don't know exactly, but it's around 2.5 MB size maximum.
