I was wondering if I send a cheque in €€€ to the UK will it convert automaticly into £££ if the reciever want's to claim it at his bank?

It should do that, but you'd have to check with the bank.

Yes. It'll be converted using whatever that bank's selling rate is, which won't be *quite* the same as the standard exchange rate, as the bank will take a small commission charge. Won't be much taken off though.

My mum gets cheques from the National Australian Bank (NAB?) and they come through as £££s.
