This is getting extremely annoying now. My game will be working fine, then for no apparant reason the game will lock up solid and do nothing at all for between 20 and 30 seconds, then it will return sometimes back to normal, or sometime with some slight dodgy artifacting (part of the roads are raised and barrier are black). Also, if im online then it throws me off the server i am in back to the server list.

I wouldnt mind trying a reinstall from scratch, but i dont know whether i have any unlocks left as ive used 3 so far this month, is their any devs that can tell me whether i have any left or not?

I am also have a an issue like this. I load up LFS, single player game, any car, any track and sometimes I can play for an ~hour or so without any problems, other times it acts up right away. When the game locks up the sound loops and the game is unresponsive to anything. after about 30-60 seconds the game unlocks and works fine for a little while then does the same thing, rinse and repeat...I have yet to have the new patch completely crash...just this issue. Only thing i dont get is the strange artifacting...

cpu, Athlon64 3200+
ram, 2GB
video, 7800GT
hd, 80GB x2 RAID0
sound, Turle Beach Santa Cruz

ingame graphic settings are 1680x1050x32, 4xFSAA and 16xAF...this is the only game that has this issue...its a funny one...no worries though, I sure do love LFS

Sounds like the GFX card is overheating or wigging out, how old and what type is it?, and is it overclocked at all.

...I dont have any problems with any other games. I am cable to loop 3dmark for an infinate ammount of time without any issues. LFS is the only game that does this. My CPU and video card are not running too hot, both are well within max temp boundries.

I had a slight OC on my 6800, so ive stuck it back to default, see what happens, although ive had no bother in any other games at all.

UPDATE - Still does it at stock clock speeds.

So just me and 1 other person are having this issue?
