The best way of keeping your lights on is to hold down the lights key, then alt tab out of the game, and back in again. LFS remembers the last button pushed so your lights will stay on.

There may be lights in S3, if we get evenings, where it is pitch black .

Remap the light key to another at the edge of your keyboard - then put a heavy object on it
