The online racing simulator
is it possible to changh SMX viewer 3d file to solidworks?
is it possible to changh LFS CMX viewer 3d file to solidworks?
Export the model to .obj with some other 3d program (like Blender since people have converted the .cmx to .blend) and import it in SolidWorks.

EDIT:
Or come to think of it - just use .dxf if you don't have the .obj importing plugin for SolidWorks.
what is .dxf?
something with direct x?
A DXF is a Drawing eXchange Format CAD file, was supposed to be a generic file format that any CAD program could read, developed by Autodesk to allow inoperabitity between CAD programs.

In reality, outside of AutoCAD, DXF is a bit of a pain in the arse.
I shudder to think what a low polygon model would look like a CAD program like Solidworks... Would be interesting, though.. I suppose. I'd like to see the results.
Post a file that can be imported in Solidworks and I will post back the 3D model in a free viewer compatible format that comes with solidworks (edrawings). dxf won't work well as Solidworks only considers it as 2D, dxf 3D files do exist but are not common and difficult to convert.
I believe Solidworks can open Rhino files, for the record. Could be an easy avenue.
Here are the import / export capabilities of Solidworks (attached screenshot)
