I recently got a new computer, and i'm having trouble with the Flash Player 8.

I dunno if it's the new computer or the Flash Player but everytime i go onto a site that uses Flash i have to click on the flash element to 'Activate' the player.... it can become a right pain in the behind.....

Can anyone tell me how to always allow Flash to be activated?

I have attached a screenshot of what i mean. You'll see the flash element is highlighted with a grey boarder and it says click here to activate.

thanks for the help Kev but i tried enabling nearly everything there, even turned security settings down to 'Low' and it was still there.... i use both firefox and IE to test my websites on.

MS has lost a lawsuite that was about this fullautomatic starting of internet content. That's why they had to remove the auto-start of such elements in one of their latest security-updates.

Use firefox.
