Hey guys, me and a friend of mine would like to make a skin for the Lx4.
We thought it would be cool to have metal looking skin to get a real old look.

Altho my friend has some experience with photoshopping we have no idea how to get that metal look. (If its even possible in LFS.) So i was wondering if someone could give me some tips.

To try it yourself, try a base of slightly bluish grey, with low opacity top layer of monchrome rendered clouds (photoshop has a filter for that somewhere).

Some tinting, gradients around the car edges, and some sort of overlay colour for the lower parts (to give the rough impression of road reflections) would help too.
