I love my cats, I love animals, but my cats are my favorite because they're cute and loving and sweet and oh so huggable, they're also merciless killers, the ultimate predators, finely honed killing machines, they are the product of millions of years of evolution to become the perfect predator.
Once you've woken up to decapitated mouses on your clothes, dead birds in your living room, and a garden that wouldn't look out of place in Steven Kings pet cemetary with more discarded rabbit pieces than a fox on amphetamines could catch in its lifetime if it broke into a battery rabbit farm, you kinda get desentised to animal cruelty pictures.
Nature is harsh.
And that video is rather badly put together, the editing is poor, the selection of pictures rather pathetic, and it has no sense of pace.
The fact it has been remote linked from this forum to me serves as a prime example of how accessibility to high technology has desensitised the public to badly written badly construed badly produced crap in the visual arts.
After watching it i'm not depressed over the state of the world, i'm depressed at the ever dwindling quality of the arts. Still, aslong as ordinary people dont start putting their diaries online in some kind of blog and we have book to read instead of internet forums there is still some hope for humanity.
Oh wait.
