Adding Skins ???
New to LFS2....downloaded some BF1 skins to the LFS\data\skins folder but when I enter the game they don't show up in the menu. What's the deal Thanks
#2 - ORION
you must click "new colors" and in the tab "colors", you can select your skin
If you want others to be able to download and see your skin, you must upload it at lfsworld.net
look at what orion said..
but no, you cant upload them for everyone else to see

Give the new scheme a name, then choose the skin where it says Texture Name
Adding skin steps
Just to clarify here are the steps

Go to garage and select new
Pick a name Eg F1 Renault
Go to the bottom of page and select BF1 and then the skins you placed in your LFS2\data\skins folder will be there for you choose and install.

Quote from kam_dori :Still cant do it.

Click "new colours" then it asks me to name a colour.

I do so, then its no different! illepall

Make sure that the skin are .jpeg or .png
you dont click new colors to change skin.

Look for a tab in the same section as brakes and gears ect. You will see colors click that, then down the bottom you will see for eg. XRT_Default, click that then it will open a menu with all that cars skins, choose the skin click ok and there you go.

You must either make a new colour set, or choose one which has a name (not one of the colour blocks, one of the named ones one the top left).

Click on COLOURS at the bottom of the page (the different tabs that go along near the bottom of the screen, which include info and setup options). After clicking on colours, click on the skin name at the bottom, and choose from the skin list that pops up on the right.

If the skin does NOT pop up on the right, it is either:

1) Not in the SKINS folder (Do not put in skins_x)
2) Names incorrectly (must have the BF1 prefix in the name)
3) Not a Jpeg file, which it must be -or-
4) Corrupt file.

I think that covers it all..

EDIT - Also, make sure the colour sliders for the bodywork are set to white for the skin to show naturally, otherwise you will have a coloured tint o the paintscheme
Well, a skin made for the XRR is made for the XRR, not the XRT, and as such will most likely not align properly on the XRT.
