hi i have my T.V connected to my pc. i have my tv on CVBS and it's black & White and the same for SVHS but when i put the t.v to RGB i get a red screen i can see everthing but jus all in red, i need help i want to see the right colours any help would great thanks in advance

what video card? if it's nvidia, you need to go into the nvidia control panel and enabled the advanced settings option. from there you need to select what TV-out method you would like to use.

in my case, when i started off all i got was a B+W screen. i set it to NTSC and boom, colours.

Setting to NTSC for a UK TV won't help. Make sure it's set to PAL-I in the driver (iirc).

Are you using component (Red Green and Blue RCA connectors), Composite (yellow RCA connector) or S-Video (4-pin DIN connector I think) ?

It is an nvidia, its an fx5500, coz its my old one! What you wanna do is put it on the big telly in the living room ash!

tbh ive never had any luck connecting a tv to the pc using the s-video connection and the supplied s-video to composite adapter. ive tryed it with many cards and only ever got it in b&w

the only thing ive never tried is to use an actual s-video lead
