I thought I'd join in the TE37 trend and try and make one.

Bearing in mind this is only the second wheel I've ever made and one of the first things I've tried to poly model, I'm quite proud.

Also, you don't want to see the wire frame - its hideously buggy.

Rendered with V-Ray, although I've not found the best settings for it yet.

Nice! How'd you do that 'chrome' material?

Chrome is easy. It has no color and just reflects it's enviroment. Just set the color to black, reflection to almost 100% and give it a hard specular - everything else is the enviroment - so make sure there is something to reflect. In case of emergency use a HDRI as EnvMap.

^^Btw, in that case its brushed alu. Just a grey texture with 'scratches" along x and anisotropic(stretched), glossy reflections.

i was so stupid i didn't know that! Now i'm 3d expert and ofcourse it's easier to remap whole car and change all brazil materials to vRay . Now i realize that it's harder to ask someone to share the scene that he/she will never use again... F*ck it i will do it myself ..

Man I cant "unlock" the files... I use win rar and when I try unzip the file give me error... I try 3 times and I have the same error.
