skin layer templates?
My graphics skills are very limited but i am willing to learn

Does anyone have a screen movie of themselves skinning....i'm puzzled by how you split the graphics and then layer them onto the parts of the car so they match up.

Sometimes seeing how its done is so much easier than trial and error.

At the moment anything I do is limited by the logo/graphic fitting on the part of the car rather than being wrapped over 2 parts.

I'm sure many wannabe skinners out there would love to see how a pro does it.

thanks in advance

makes it a so much more easy to use you use paint your car what you want and add graphics there is a file you can download with loads of brands and logos on it

The way I wrap things over areas of the cars is simple, but can be long winded.

Save > Preview > Adjust > Repeat until sorted

The more you do, you will get used to it and the adjustments will be fewer.

As mentioned, there are some excellent templates with wireframe layers to help visualise where the surfaces join. I don't think the most up-to-date ones are in the thread linked above...try Master Skinnerz.
