Hi Guys,

my LFS doesn't start any more, yesterday i installed drivers for my USB Graphics Tablet (http://www.odys.de/web/web_lan ... p_7_an_X100001_sw_ja.html). Could this be the Problem? I already downloaded a fresh version of LFS.

My OS is Vista 64bit ultimate SP1 with all known updates
CPU E6850
8GB DDR2
ATi HD3780 @ 9.5 Drivers

€dit: restart doesnt help. But i uninstalled the Drivers and now LFS starts again, but i dont want to in and uninstall the drivers for the graphic tablet anytime i want to use it.

tried starting LFS with the tablet unplugged?

Have you tried running lfs without the tablet plugged in or even after uninstalling the drivers again? My first guess would be either faulty drivers or a "messed up" installation of them.

my thinking was that the tablet is a USB HID device, and so are wheels and most gamepads... it might be that LFS sees it but doesn't know what to do.

Well that might be a possibility. I never had such a device so im not sure really what else to say. Lets just hope that he hasn't actually bought it for using it in LFS.

yup, when i tried it only my usb mouse was plugged in.

i could try to use it in CS or TF2 xD but for LFS i use my G25


now i uninstalled the drivers, restarted my pc, now it works again^^
then i plugged my tablet in loaded the vista drivers and both work now, only the macro keys dont, but i dont really need them

if it works, go with it!
