Watch Round 4 of the International GT Championship LIVE on multiBC on 5/23
Hey race fans !

Round 4 of the 2009 International GT Championship will be broadcast live on multiBC (thanks to the financial expenditure of Timo "hyntty" Hynninen - thanks to him for the expense) starting from about 18:40 UTC. Unfortunately, due to time constraints based on what Timo worked out with multiBC, we will not be streaming qualifying live. But we will join as soon as we can to give an introduction and then get into the race.

I know for sure that I'll be providing commentary, and I'm not sure of any others offhand, but definitely hoping that a couple will be joining me.

This race will be an exciting challenge, with the narrow road and close walls and no room for error, consistency should be a big key. Sonicrealms racing are looking to keep their momentum from their first win in IGTC that they took last round at Aston North.

And the broadcast is go!
Do you run an IRC for livetalk somewhere?
And the broadcast is totally perfect! The first ever time i have been able to watch a stream without it freezing or stuttering, its perfect!

EDIT: Damnit! Its all gone blank, i think google chrome has crashed, plugin unresponsive Oh well, IE time then, fingers crossed!

EDIT 2: It crashed IE as well, Ill try open URL in WMP, and if that doesnt work, ill download firefox and try that, im determined!
The best to watch is with IE or FF.

Try the P2P-Stream if you have problems :=) or if you use the unicast stream switch between the streamingservers by pushing "next" at the windows media player

The stream is, as has already been said, brilliant! I'm using the p2p stream, and it has gone black one time so far (I had to restart it), but I think I can forgive it since it has not stuttered once! Usually I find these streams to be so jumpy that they're unwatchable, but not this one!
I think i have it going, nearly. The p2p stream waorked perfectly for a few minutes and then just crashes everything i try to load it in, but the UNICAST one seems to be bringing more luck, as i have sound so far.
Nope, its all gone blank again, my net just isnt up to it, as its barely better than dialup, if not worse in fact.

my ping is about 360ms, download speed is ~200kbps and upload is ~5kbps, and, yes that is kilobytes and not kilobits, it really is THAT slow.

Its my own fault for expecting these streams to work for me really, as 3g internet is really only meant for email checking and such.

It's a shame really, as since i moved to my own flat i can no longer use my parents 8 meg connection, and i have hardly raced anywhere on LFS, as it is just so bad i lag really badly and time out repeatedly.

This is the only thing stopping me from competing in events such as this as i would love to do some proper league racing, but because i am living on an estate which is still a building site with houses and other flats still being built all around me, BT are asking for about £150 to connect me up, as no phone lines have been done yet, something which i cant afford to do yet.

Private chat is great, it allows us to tell passo what cars to point the cameras at, talk about drivers, teams and admins amongst ourselves, shout at deko for his bad pronounciation, groan at passo for his bad jokes and puns, tell me I'm talking crap, allows me to swear (a lot ) and to tell timo to stfu...
Great job with the indexed version, deko!
