Wern't you and that other guy arguing about how many people died? One said 8, other said 10 and erm, since when is it ok for people to get catapulted into the air by a car just because none of them died?
[Offtopic]DevilDare, you are speaking about that video in Lithuania, where blue Nissan 200sx crashed into a bunch of people? If so, no one died, right?[/Offtopic]
Yes, same accident. I believe worst injury so far is brain damgage. No one died.
Not going to speak more about it, but just going to say, it was showed on the news several times. So people who got "offended" or whatever can go sue the news now....
Also, people need to learn to read. Me and Kris were arguing how many people were involved, he said 10 I said 7/8, and gave a link to the news page as proof. People chose to click the link, but more, they chose to watch the video (because you need to press play...) When clearly Kris said something along the lines of "it was nasty" before the link.....
I am very amazed that people think that animals getting killed is funny, and people getting catapulted not. Last time i checked humans were animals too.....
That has to be the biggest load of complete none sense I've read in a while.
It's quite simple people have more sympathy or are able to make more of an emotional, caring connection to someone/people getting run over than a bird being minced.
I can't believe that you're so offended by animals being unfortunately killed, in what some see as humorous ways, but you fail to understand why people feel more towards actual real people being hurt.
Turn off the internets, go back to bed and don't come back
Human is an animal too like other species are too. It is natural to us to feel more empathy towards other similar individual (other human) than it is to feel it towards other animal what's not similar. It's natural us to consider other animals as food, we are on the top of the food chain. If it wouldn't be like this we couldn't have survived as a specie. Or at least we still would be just stupid apes because we then couldn't be able to get the proteins and fat from the meat of animals needed for evolving these big brains of ours.
So yes, seeing another human being getting killed is a whole lot more graphic and nasty than seeing another animal from other specie getting killed.
I'm not still saying it's not nasty to see ie. a kitten getting tortured, but you maybe got my point.
The pic crashgate posted, I don't consider really as funny, but I also don't feel much knowing the bird died.
I have to agree... Devil-dare stop coming into this thread if all you're going to do is complain.. It's obvious you care (too much?) about things but this is the internet and it's primary job, aside from porn and pirating is to be fun.
