Either way, I've been using Windows XP for like 8 years or however long and I'm happy so I'm not in a rush to change. If someone GAVE me an Apple I'd use it but I wouldn't buy one..
There have been a few people say in this thread that macs are nothing special, yet you still keep coming with these wonderful reasons why they are, and we are the fanboys?
Plus saying, oh just go buy a mac, whats the point of that? Barking at people to buy something wont do much good, they will only buy it if they want to in the first place.
Thats like someone telling me i must buy a g25, i dont really want to atm, and no amount of people telling me i should won't change that.
The machines are better than ANYTHING that the rest of the PC world has out. They're more advanced than PC's will come out with for like 10 years. Too bad you guy's are too much of a PC fanboy to realize something that's good.
Oh and have you got proof of that. Has it scientifically been proven that any PC can only run crysis on low.
So you are saying a rig with an intel I7 with a 2 nvidia GTX295+'s couldn't run it on high
No i'm too busy not wasting money on something which none of my stuff will work with and that will cost me more than a car. You can get a half decent car for the price of a macintosh. If i were to buy a mac it would be a mac book pro and i would format it and install windows. But i ain't cause i would rather have... hmm i don't know. money?
Its just my opinion, but i like to stick to what i know best, which is windows. I can't honestly see the point in learning how a whole different OS works in order to do all the everyday tasks that my XP pc can happily do for me as it is.
LMAO!!! so, you have just pointed out that the Mac OS is no better than Windows so why push it on everyone...
Let's be honest, most game designers are porting their products to Windows drivers and softwares because of the rather large chunk of the market that it has owned and owns. As you run Crysis under the Mac OS and all of a sudden it blows up in your face don't be surprised as the product you are using is not specifically designed to run under the Mac OS
You're making yourself look like a right tit running around with your hands in the air screaming Mac OS is the bestest thing since sliced bread when in fact the only place the OS belongs in is coffee shops and as a reference for OAP's.
I do agree that the Mac made hardware is years ahead of most notebook manufactures, but don't be silly as to say the OS itself is something special, because it's just not, but then again that's just my opinion, do you see me bitching and screaming about it?
Yet there you are contradicting your self. First you say how good OSX is. Then you say how well you run windows 7 and now you are saying how good OSX is again.
