Not sure if I will use the grid sorting doohickey, it was a bit unreliable.
As far as the racing went, there was a lot of quality battles to watch throughout both races. It did seem though that people possibly were not leaving enough room during the early, tightly packed stages which caused a couple of crashes.
Please use the reports thread if you have any grievances.
A fairly successful test in all though, thanks for participating, and for your patience when things werent quite working
These are really nice pictures , friend... NIce race, nice battles , there was of course a couple of "sh-t hap-ends" situations but i think that it was really nice race. Now , practice for SO6 and this time i will not share any setups
btw.Pettigrew , did you watch that our contact in first lap , race 1, T1?
Do you still think that i was wrong and that i did something on purpose?
Whoever has time maybe can check that contact and say his opinion on that...
Yeah no worries im not putting in any reports. Dont see much point. After checking the replay most of the things happening around me and to me were due to lag.
So sorry for having a go at you guys the other night but please understand how annoying that must have been for me. To have been hit off in t1 then coming from the back was fun but still I felt much more room should have been given from your side.
Either way I hope we dont see a repeat of that in round 1. If it something does happen I hope there are strick rules to encourage people to be more careful
Edit: If someone wants to check it just watch T1 race 1 from my car and Pavlovic's car.
Dont care much for the outcome of who is to blame but yeah opinions may be a nice thing?
Sucks about all the problems people had
On the plus side for me though, i hope for more of the same from me through the season, it would at least see me being competetive for a change
I completely understand how you felt about that. I would react the same.
Of course you have your opinion and I have my and maybe somebody will say his opinion on our "incident" but after so many races I have stopped to be nervous and start to saying "sh-t hap-ends" and race incidents are happening without any good reason or purpose... I really really hope that in all race events that comes we won't have any situations like this. And yes , comment from other will be very good here... Please comment our "touch" in Race 1 , T1...
Adam gets to turn 1 having made a place already after a bonza start. He sees there is a gap between WlayCo and the kerb, and he has enough room to get by. As this is a UFR, he can't use all of the kerb otherwise he would flip over. He goes for the gap and starts to accelerate. Had the gap between WlayCo and the kerb stayed the same, there would have been contact anyway. In the crash, WlayCo moves slightly to the left upon exiting the corner. There's nothing wrong with this other than the fact that it causes enough contact to make LFS decide that this was a major collision and send Adam off the track. So, really, it's nobody's fault. Typical T1, I think.
Hahaha you are right, i did not read the rules
Never mind , i have good connections and i know some people so maybe they would allow me to participate anyway
But anyway , did you know that only :headbang:REAL drivers, drive on Mouse...
Everybody can take the wheel and drive...
Thanks Passo, It is a fair way of looking at it But I just wish I either held back and waited or just had better luck without silly lfs physics or lag to destroy my race
Well it wasn't totaly destroyed coming from the back to I think it was 6th or 8th wasnt bad.
