Hey

Is it posible to change the audio output in lfs..?

Want to route it through a audio prog´ to add some fx and make it sound a lil bit better :P

if it aint posible, then maybe it should be added so u can in the next update...

sry for my bad english.. if its bad.. :P
Not that I know of, you'd have to change your default audio out device. You could do something like CSR though, based on outgauge datas.
On youre username, i assume that youre amateur dj. So ... amateur wants maximum bang and the most unrealistlic sound ever. I mean, look in the youtube - search "the very best bass test ever". Its just crackling sound. Thats what u get when u modify the sound with volume. If you want more bass in the sound, get yourself some speakers.

Ontopic: As i know, some of the Creative X-Fi series soundcards allow such system what u need. Remapping the output into new channel and then mixing the stuff u want. Then remapping it to your main channel - and out, to speakers. Something like that. Im not sure, u gotta google for that if ur gonna do such thing.
Have you tried "shift A" if you want to adjust the ingame car sounds

SD.
+1 for audio device selection.

It is possible to rout audio outside of LFS, so that every sound the computer produces is directed into a "pipe". Search for "virtual audio driver" or "virtual audio cable". I just tried something like this and it worked, sort of.

Thanks for a great idea, I'm going to try to distort and eq LFS a bit.
