What browser are you using? What OS? Do you have any anti-virus software running? Any anti-spyware software? Do you have a problem posting on RSC or other bulletin boards? Are you running through a proxy?
I don't have a problem and this forum is running vBulletin which is pretty standard and nobody else seems to have problems. It's got to be something on your end. System, software, service provider, etc.
You should probably have put this under Tech Assistance, BTW.
and check if you're using the WYSIWYG editor - that doesn't work properly for everyone, so if you use that, turn it off (or check if it's turned on in your cp-options, if so turn it off)
yesterday i did 2 times a very long post (took me 30 mins each). 2 times i pressed submit it froze and i lost my post. 1st time i had wysiwyg editor then changed to standard and it still froze (i wasnt expecting it so i didnt copy text). i was so pissed. lost 1 hour, didnt actually reply , and it was quite an important post. i'll wont do it again, i prefer to waste my time on my bike, which doesnt freeze.

Sry I dont know what the WYSIWYG editor is, and it wasnt my intention to screw up here, I just dont understand why my cpu goes up to 100%, basicly thats all.

i don't think there's a post time-limit.
But read above, kid gave the key with which i could fix the hang-bug here, so you shouldn't have that problem anymore (at least on this forum). And why it happened - it was a javascript function that got stuck in an endless loop, hence your cpu raised to 100%
