I dont no where to post this. But within the past 2-3 weeks firefox doesn't keep me signed in. i tried deleting cookies and all that shit. any one no how to fix this?

3.5 RC1 came out today, might be worth a go.

You could always try a new profile (edit the shortcut to FF and add -p after the quotation marks at the end to open profile manager on startup).

didnt work. it rembers passwords and stuff but it doesn't keep me logged in on anything. i am the only user on the computer =/ i tried google buy no luck on fixing it

My only thought would be to check whether cookies are allowed and are set to be kept until expiry in Tools > Settings > Privacy(?) > Cookies

Nope not working. Hmmm. i guess i gotta get used to logging in on every again

Try this:

Go to Run, and type %APPDATA%.
Then follow the directory Mozilla>FireFox>Profiles>pxdg9jd5.default
Delete the file "cookies.sqlite," a new one will be created when you start FF again.

That works for me when auto-login stops working in FireFox.

nope never worked

I had this problem with FF before I formated; I'm pritty sure using a different user on login fixes it, but I cant quite remember...Formatting happened to fix it

I had this problem to. I reformatted (NOT just for FF ) and it worked.

Try completely uninstalling FF and anything related to it. then download the latest version?

tried that and still nothing >.<

I use Opera, it's fast and doesn't crash, which I can't say about FF since it crashes all the time.

K-Meleon is also fast and doesn't crash.
