I've heard in some news that the possibility of North Korea launching a nuclear attack on some other country (duh) is very small. They are more likely to sell the weapons, although I have no idea how easy that would be. However, imagine some fanatical terrorists getting their hands on nuclear weapons. Sucks ass, doesn't it?

Obviously it depends on the circumstances. If Japan or South Korea or the USA unilaterally struck North Korea with no provocation (i.e. not as a retaliatory strike) there would be a chance of Russia and/or China offering help. If there was a retaliatory strike because of an action of North Korea (firing upon South Korea / Japan / USA etc) then it would be a less defensible position for Russia and/or China to enter the picture.

NKorea done all the missile and nuclear test in defiance. Provoking us, but doesn't work. Almost as if they wanted us to whack them hard, and blame us for it. They fail at it anyway. We are resilient haha. They'll most likely make the first strike and we'll wait for the chance to retaliate. No doubt Kim doesn't care about his citizens, but we do The next step of provocation will be a nuclear missile being launched and detonated. That will make UN uber pissed. I've heard on news that they have developed and tested a nuke that has yield of 20kT, next one will be glue-ing the warhead to the missile.

Our navy is quite determined to take a very harsh counteraction to the North Korean navy the moment they become offensive. They were quite pissed off when officers and crewmen died at the attack at yellow sea a few years ago.

Unless the Kim Jung-il becomes insane, it is quite unlikely that we will have a full scale war. N.Korea know that they can't win.
But it is highly possible to have a limited warfare.

A full scale war is the last thing we want. Even if that results in to a United Korea. Our economy will be back to the 60's and Japan and the US will earn huge amounts of money by selling weapons to us.

Actually if the war starts again, I would be one of the first to be dead.
I live just 200m from the Ministry of National Defense & Joint Forces Command.
The SCUD missiles and the long range artillery will shower upon my neighberhood in less than 5min.
The greatest fear is the biological weapons.
Even if I survive the first bombardment, it is likely to suffer a critical disease that comes from the biological weapons.

You are from the better part of Korea. The part that makes pwnage kias :P And nah N.korea's scud missiles will be DOA. Or may even blow up in their faces :P

To the rest of the world, North Korea is just a chav. It wears a hoodie, has a load of weed in one pocket and a can of Wifebeater in the other whilst looking hard. However, if it had Amir Khan walking towards it they'd be cowering in fear knowing that they would be decked in no time.

I don't think China and Russia want to have anything to do with them, as they're getting embarrasing now. Jintao Hu doesn't want to be the parent in the supermarket with the kid breaking stuff.

Jong-Il Kim appears be in poor health, one school of thought is that this is a distraction. I doubt the regime will be able to survive in its current form for long. The question is when the house of cards will fall, and if it will go down with a fight. Comparisons with East Germany aren't exactly accurate though.

1.- By airplane: It wouldn't even see Japan by the time it was destroyed.
2.- Missil: I don't know...

I guess all eyes are on north korea, radars and shit.

Air : the plane will probably crash or get spotted easily, they don't have any recent stuff.
Missiles : let's put it this way, all records show that their attempts with Taepodong 2s have failed. The Taepodong 1 hasn't been that effective either, so realistically they can't touch anything a real distance away.

The 3rd way: They'll put bombs in Kia Picanto's and spread them all over the world...
