I have 7zip to extract files but whenever i go to extract it into my LFS/Data/Sound file i get this stupid message saying it can not be extracted.

somebody wanna explain? I wanna add in gills xrt sr20det sound but this is getting frustrating and wont let me


EDIT: oh and how can i make the track asphalt darker? its a light grey and iw ant it to be almost black. thanks again

What does the error message say? Can you extract the files somewhere else and copy them later?

ah nevermind it was already extracted and i just had to put it in the engine folder. dumb dumb moment.

anywho how can i edit the cfg.txt to make the road surfaces appear darker?

AFAIK you can't. That requires editing some .dds file.

well then does anyone know anyone who has edited that .dds and made the road surface darker? i know some people have by their youtube videos but i dont trust messign around with that stuff by myself. thanks

http://www.lfs-database.com/ is a good place to look for things like this.

Also searching the forum for "darker tarmac" produced some results that may interest you.
