Ok, in sound options I can reduce this down to 1.0.... not far enough... anyway to reduce the echo effect even further?

Check "Echo Boost" in your cfg.txt

Thnx Xaotic, I tried that and even though I set it to 0, in the game it was still 1.0 and the effect hadn't changed. (OOps that was S2 T demo.. doubt that would matter)

Just a thought, but did you play the game after you changed the .txt and didn't hear echo or did you go right in to the audio settings menu (which possibly reset the setting to 1 [not sure when LFS makes the check])?

I did try it, and hadn't noticed a difference so I went back into Audio options and saw it was set at 1.0
I then went back to the cfg.txt file, and it was still set at 0.0
