I've just installed it so i haven't checked out any new features...but it was instantly noticeable that it way faster than before, it's the fastest browser I've tried by a long way.

It took long enough, I've been using the various 3.1 betas and 3.5 RCs for a while now.
The icon has changed slightly, darker orange I think.
Ive used IE for 10 years and just switched over to Firefox 3.5 yesterday. Best choice I've made in a long time! You don't know what your missing until you try it!
Holy shit, this thing is fast!
Had a beta 3.x something version earlier and upgraded to this one, it feels like FF on speed compared to what I had. Everything goes faster and I beliving it might be the fastest browser out there now. Compared it with Opera and IE, they both was slow as snails compared to FF now.
Yeah, it's much faster, especially JavaScript.

I would recommend setting javascript.options.jit.chrome to true in about:config to speed up interface.
Is that something that will increase the speed a lot? If the different is barely noticable it's more a botter than it is worth, but if it actually is a noticable different (in loading java's and such right?) I probally will botter doing it.

I was sure I had done that in a previous version, but it was reset to false.

Thanks for the reminder
TheVeryEnd, it's ~10 seconds to do it, and it is noticeable when you have a lot of tabs opened.
But what does it actually do? I mean, definition of the action and differnce. Just curious.

Ok, I'll test it when I come home. If it takes more than 10 seconds I'll sue your ass so hard!
It enables TraceMonkey (new lightning fast JavaScript engine) for user interface.
I am sorry for even asking

Going to try out when home!

and extensions
And now I got rid of the "problem" of slowly starting browser.
my browser took like 20 minutes to boot up. is this a problem/glitch?

My browser took like 0.5 seconds to boot up with like 50 extensions, what am I doing wrong?

Great one!
Definitely seems faster for me so far.
