1vs100. Anyone tried the beta?
Im sure some of you may of heard or seen the 1vs100 beta for Xbox live being announced, and the public beta was available for a few hours tonight.

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/1vs100/

Basically, its like the popular US show. You are "the one" against "the mob" and you answer 5 questions at a time, competing against 100 other players in "the mob". Everytime you answer a question correctly, you advance to the next question. It will then show how many people out of the 100 in "the mob" got it wrong. If you get it wrong, your knocked out. You then keep answering questions until your up against 1 person, or until you answer a question incorrectly. You can win big prizes like TV's, Computers, A fiat 500 and much more! The beta's prize's was only restricted to MS points however. For every 10 people you knock out, your possible prize gets bigger and bigger. At the end of every 5 questions (or new possible prize reached), you are asked whether you would like to finish and collect your current prize, or continue and try and reach the next prize.

I really enjoyed playing this, and some of the questions were very hard. I even became "the one" and done quite well! I got upto 3000MS point, and then decided not to risk it, so i got 3000MS points (worth around £26) for free! Also, no download is required! You just select "play now" and it loads up. So to sum up, i think its great fun to play, and im very chuffed i got to be "the one" and got 3000MS points for nout!
Seen the programme, I think it's a bit lame.
Could be because of the way it gets presented in Holland.

It's nice that you can win prizes though, but I think one should only play this game for the fun of it and not for the prizes.
Yeah, I played it last night, was good fun.

Shame the "live" show is only happening once a week though.

edit : don't remember seeing your gamertag as "the one" though
How long do you get to answer each question?
Well, the question comes up, and then the answers come up slowly, one by one. Once they all pop up, you have around 5 seconds to answer. The faster you answer, the more points you get for your lifetime score, and you get even more if you answer immediately.
200 pts if you answer instantly.

But yeah, around 5 secs, not enough time to use wikipedia, thats for sure!!!!
