To be fair the BMW Sauber looks only a bit like the Ferrari and the Williams to a degree. Any other F1 skin on the car just looks plain wrong imo.

Who has time to look at the ads when their in the BF1 anyway? You barely have time to blink, let alone stare at advertisements

Ditto They're directly related to the motorsport, being main sponsors of a team, and BMW being the team itself, which makes the advertising very genuine. Even people who disapprove of advertising at all must surely recognise the sporting realism they bring?

And sure, i'll post the dds, It's not as high quality as the BM badge, but thats Lotus for you

Just drop it in your dds folder, but make sure you make a backup of the original, just incase you wanna change back.

we should make a pact saying we wont change the ACTUAL advertisement (well.. not really advertisements, but the real companies) in LFS

Why ?,

I dont think BMW are gonna break the contract with LFS, just coz a sim racing geek in the North of England changed a little badge on the steering wheel, and i hardly think Lotus are gonna threaten BMW sales, anywhere at anytime.

I simply changed it so it would fit in with my skin, i never thought anyone else would actually want it, and to be honest, i think BM and their sponsors would be more upset at seeing their cars in a ferrari or renault skin rather than a Lotus one from the late 60's

If the Dev's or Mr BMW/Sauber want me to change it back, then i have no problem with that, i'll even change the skin back too, but until they send me a free BM (pref a 3 Series Touring )then i don't particularly feel any loyalty towards them or indeed Intel, i'm running this thing on AMD power, so....lol ??

I know what your saying, and i do seriously appreciate the new car and sponsors and everything else, but, it's not something that i'm particularly bothered about, and infact, at the moment, the things so damn fast, i hardly ever drive it online, coz i kinda loose all sense of where the other racers are.

I am working on this one, but i am to dumb to find the texture wich describes the cutouts around the wheel. Is that in the alpha channel or in the 3ds modell? with a bit more fiddleing ill get there...

Erm not sure what you mean by the alpha channel or the 3ds model, i 'm a computer numb nuts, but, its dds Sauberweel1, and you have to change the badge in the top left corner, if that helps ?, then its just a case of messing around with it, getting the right size, + i put it into CMX viewer first, to get an idea of how it was looking.

As you can see (well at least a bit) in that screenshot the fez has a bulky badge wich is not round, but the round bmw logo still shows as small circle over it, without badge but theres a circle, i dont think i can get rid of that so i will see and make a diffrent logo.

Never liked intel cpu's, so as soon as it came out I got a 7up skin with AMD on the side
