I heard a radio on Logitech stuff too, but...

el_pibe, have you seen her by any chance?

oh hai
Quote from Luke.S :On my old speakers which were just 2 a bit bigger than my surround sound ones i always used to pick up air traffic control frequency's so i could be listening to music then i get something like 'this is BA flight 21 requesting permission to climb to 30,000 feet.' And other things like that.

omg, that is so cool  wish my speakers could do things like that
Anyway, my old speakers did same thing, i could hear some german underground radio lol.
my x-230s dont do that, even though those two share the internals and the design
My logitech set do this, it's resolvable by adding shielding to the sub and some of the satelitte speakers. Just means you need to get handy with the screwdriver.

But to be honest, if you've only just bought the speakers I'd return them. Its what I would've done if I had the sense when I got mine several years ago.
#30 - Jakg
Would those ferrite ring things you get on some USB leads solve this?
Try wrapping the speakers in some foil to see if they stop. If they do, get the ol' screwdriver out and get shielding.

As Jakg, a suggested ferrite clip on each end of the cable will help too, as will using shielded cables and a mains noise filter, just in case.
And there I was thinking it was just me.
my old speakers used to do this. Lasham airport is very near me and almost all the Uk based boeings get serviced/cleaned there. was always fun listening to them in the day. and very peaceful way of getting to sleep.
I wanna find a way to make my system pick this kind of stuff up, it sounds brilliant!
I second that dan

I can get German opera on my old speakers, also I get it on my headset. Creepy, but it saves on ticket costs
I wouldnt mind picking up Airport/Taxi/Police ect, but the German radio sucks!
